Community

Our intellectual environment is one built on mutual respect, integrity, professionalism, and a deep sense of community. We believe it is essential that every student has access to the remarkable opportunities that Yale provides and that everyone is treated as a full and valued member of the community.

In the fall of 2020, Belonging at Yale was launched as a three- to five-year initiative based on recommendations on diversity, inclusion, and belonging by a group of faculty and administrators. The five-year Belonging at Yale Action Plan (2020-2025) was the result and concluded at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year.

For more information, visit the University’s website. We have also compiled a list of reports and resources for the community.
