Adriana L. Germano is an assistant professor (adjunct) of law at Yale Law School and an assistant professor of organizational behavior at the Yale School of Management, where she has taught courses on management and the social psychology of groups and teams. Prior to her work at Yale, Germano was a postdoctoral research scholar at Columbia Business School. Her research examines the tension between cultural norms and values and intergroup dynamics. In particular, she is interested in how seemingly objective, neutral, and even positive cultural norms and values can hinder group outcomes. Germano earned a B.F.A. from the University of Florida, completed Columbia University’s post-baccalaureate certificate program in psychology, and earned a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Washington.
