David M. Munguia Gomez is an associate professor (adjunct) of law at Yale Law School and an assistant professor of organizational behavior at the Yale School of Management, where he teaches courses on working in groups and teams. He studies decisions about allocating rewards and opportunities, such as college admission and employment. He focuses on the ethical tensions that arise when considering applicants’ merit and circumstances, as well as the inferences that people draw about applicants based on their (dis)advantageous circumstances. Munguia Gomez earned a B.A. from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
