Helena Falke is a doctoral candidate at the University of Bonn, where her dissertation examines the intellectual foundations of information privacy law in Germany and the United States. Her work engages with broader questions of legal transfer, transatlantic thought, and the evolution of normative concepts in privacy jurisprudence across different jurisdictions.
As a Fulbright Scholar, Helena earned an LL.M. from Yale Law School (2023–2024), where she was also a Resident Fellow at the Information Society Project. She previously graduated in the top 1% of her class in the First State Examination in Law and holds an LL.B. in Law and Economics from the University of Bonn. She has served in research and teaching roles at the University of Bonn and has published in various legal journals.
Her academic background is complemented by practical experience in the German Parliament, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and the German Embassy in Washington, D.C., where she developed an early interest in the institutional dynamics of transatlantic legal discourse.
