Jane Jacoby headshot

Jane Jacoby is a visiting clinical lecturer in law and co-director of the Environmental Protection Clinic (EPC) at Yale Law School. Jacoby’s work focuses on supporting community groups and Indigenous peoples through environmental litigation and administrative advocacy.

She previously served as the conservation director for the Yaak Valley Forest Council in Troy, MT. Most recently, Jacoby was an environmental law fellow at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Jacoby holds an A.B. in mathematics and classics with honors from Brown University, an M.F. from the Yale School of the Environment, and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was awarded the Colby Townsend Memorial Prize for best paper by a second-year student. Her writing has appeared in Jacobin, The Urban Lawyer, and Persephone.
