Kevin Schwartz

Kevin S. Schwartz is a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. He is also a partner in the Litigation Department of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, and Chair of the Judiciary Committee of the New York City Bar Association, where he leads a committee of 50 lawyers in reviewing and interviewing every judicial nominee for all state and federal courts based in NYC. He served as a law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court of the United States and to Judge Guido Calabresi on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Schwartz received his A.B from Harvard College and was awarded the Sophia Freund Prize as the top-ranked summa cum laude graduate. He earned his M.B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Oxford as a Marshall Scholar and received his J.D. from Yale Law School. He previously was a Lecturer on Yale’s Political Science Department Faculty.
