Marie-Fatima Hyacinthe is a clinical lecturer in law at Yale Law School and the postdoctoral fellow for the Global Health Justice Partnership at Yale Law School and Yale School of Public Health. Hyacinthe’s research focuses on carceral systems and public health. Her published work spans reproductive justice, the public health impact of policing, and public health work in Black, queer, and trans communities. An expert in HIV advocacy and education, she is currently co-leading a participatory action research project with people engaged in the sex trades, in addition to collaborating on a project dedicated to understanding the potential health impact of racial reparations. 

Hyacinthe earned a B.A. from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from the Yale School of Public Health, as well as a certificate from the Program in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Yale.
