Mary Schnoor is a visiting clinical lecturer in law at Yale Law School and a partner at McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Washington, D.C., where she is part of the firm’s Supreme Court & Appellate and Government & Regulatory Litigation practices. Schnoor previously served as deputy general counsel for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where she oversaw the Department’s rulemaking strategy, including asylum process reforms, DACA, cybersecurity, and other regulatory action. She clerked for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court and for Judge Richard A. Posner on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
