The Workplace Theory & Policy Workshop bring scholars, policymakers, and activists from law and other disciplines to YLS to discuss labor and work, broadly defined. This year's workshop will explore the interrelationships between work, technology, and democracy, broadly understood. The seminar will examine contemporary trends and transformations in the world of work, explore the implications for people who work and the larger society, and analyze ways to regulate and restructure work and work-related institutions to achieve different outcomes, such as efficiency, security, and social and economic justice.
The workshop meets on Mondays from 4:00 to 6 p.m. EST, and is open to the Yale community. For more information or readings, please contact faculty assistant Jorgieliz Casanova.
