Elisabeth Paar

Visiting Fellow

Elisabeth Paar is a legal scholar from Austria. Her research lies at the interface between constitutional law, legal philosophy, technology law and medical law. Currently, Elisabeth is a PhD candidate in law at the University of Graz. In her thesis, she assesses the constitutional limits of the use of Artificial Intelligence in court proceedings. Accompanying her doctoral studies, she works as a research and teaching assistant at the Institute for Constitutional and Administrative Law at the University of Vienna. Previously to starting her doctorate, she studied law at the University of Graz where graduated at the top of the class in 2018 (Mag.iur., J.D. equivalent). Furthermore, she holds an LL.M. from Yale Law School (2023). From 2022 to 2023, she was also a resident fellow of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School.
