Navigating Law School Admissions Podcast

About the Podcast

Hello law school applicants! We are Miriam Ingber and Kristi Jobson, the deans of admission at Yale Law School and Harvard Law School. We met in 2018 over pizza when we were both brand new to our jobs, and we have been great friends and colleagues ever since.

In the summer of 2020, it became clear that the COVID-19 pandemic would make recruiting travel impossible. So...we decided to start a podcast together. Our goal: democratize information about the law school admissions process and lower barriers to access.

We know that applying to law school is a long and stressful process. And we also know that many people simply don’t have access to basic information about how law school admissions works, especially those from backgrounds underrepresented in the legal community. But it doesn’t have to be mysterious; there are answers to many commonly asked questions.

On Tour

After three seasons, we took Navigating Law School Admissions on the road during the fall of 2023. We had so much fun that we are doing it again!  We are once again partnering with law firms to host live events in Miami (September 25 & 26), New York City (October 8), and Washington, DC (October 9). We hope you can join us at one of these events. Register below:
