Navigating Law School Admissions Podcast

About the Podcast

Hello law school applicants! We are Miriam Ingber and Kristi Jobson, the deans of admission at Yale Law School and Harvard Law School. We met in 2018 over pizza when we were both brand new to our jobs, and we have been great friends and colleagues ever since.

In the summer of 2020, it became clear that the COVID-19 pandemic would make recruiting travel impossible. So...we decided to start a podcast together. Our goal: democratize information about the law school admissions process and lower barriers to access.

We know that applying to law school is a long and stressful process. And we also know that many people simply don’t have access to basic information about how law school admissions works, especially those from backgrounds underrepresented in the legal community. But it doesn’t have to be mysterious; there are answers to many commonly asked questions.

On Tour

After three seasons, we took Navigating Law School Admissions on the road. We partnered with law firms to host live events in Boston, New York City, Seattle, and Los Angeles and also took a trip to the United Kingdom (UCL, Oxford, Cambridge, & LSE)! Thank you to everyone who hosted us and to those who joined us at the events. To listen to some of these live events, check out Season 4!
