Paige Vaughn

Research Scholar


Paige Vaughn is a Research Scholar at Yale Law School's Justice Collaboratory and a PhD candidate in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Her research interests include crime control policy, law and society, and race and inequality. Her dissertation examines processes affecting racial disparities in victim and defendant treatment across police and court case processing stages. Paige is also involved in projects that examine the mechanisms underlying criminal justice reform and the impacts of criminal justice policies on violence. She is currently working alongside Dr. Richard Rosenfeld on a randomized controlled study to evaluate an individualized focused deterrence program in St. Louis, MO.
