Faculty Lounge
On October 15th, our “Day in the Life” series will feature women at
law firms. Davis Polk attorneys Jennifer Newstead (YLS ’94) and
Cristina Regojo will reflect on a typical “day in the life” of a firm
attorney and how they balance their career and personal lives.
Ms. Newstead served as Deputy Assistant Attorney General at the
U.S. Department of Justice and later as Associate White House Counsel.
In 2003, she became General Counsel of the White House Office of
Management and Budget. She became a litigation partner at Davis Polk
in 2006. Ms. Regojo is an associate in the corporate department of
Davis Polk.
Yale Law Women’s “Day in the Life” series features women attorneys
who have pursued diverse career paths after law school, including those
who have worked at law firms, in government, in business, and at
non-profits.
