Join the Schell Center for a virtual information session on the Bernstein and Robina postgraduate fellowships in international human rights.
The Robert L. Bernstein Fellowship in International Human Rights, inaugurated in 1997, annually funds several recent Yale Law School graduates to pursue a year of full-time human rights advocacy work. Recent Bernstein Fellows have worked with EarthRights in Chiang Mai, Thailand; the Initiative for Social and Economic Rights in Kampala, Uganda; the LGBT Rights Program at Human Rights Watch in New York City; and Privacy International in London.
The Robina Foundation Human Rights Fellowship also funds recent Yale Law School graduates to do full-time human rights work, particularly with international or foreign courts and tribunals and intergovernmental human rights agencies. Recent Robina Fellows have worked at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France; USAID/Power Africa in Washington, D.C.; and the Ombudsperson Institution of the Republic of Kosovo in Pristina, Kosovo.
For more information on the fellowships and to access the 2025 application (due February 3rd), visit the Schell Center website.
This hybrid event will be in-person in SLB 110 and online via Zoom.
