The Center for Academic Freedom and Free Speech invites you to a conference titled "Revisiting the Woodward Report: Free Expression on College Campuses." This academic year marks the 50th anniversary of the Woodward Report, a landmark document in the history free speech at American universities. The report was produced at Yale University by a committee chaired by the historian C. Vann Woodward and is formally titled, “Report of the Committee on Freedom of Expression at Yale.”
