Dean Gerken invites the community to join the unveiling and presentation of a portrait of Richard Ravitch. A reception will follow in the Student Lounge. Please RSVP by September 2.

A graduate of this law school, Richard Ravitch’s illustrious career includes extensive work in both the public and private sectors, including as Lieutenant Governor of New York from 2009-10. He has also chaired the New York State Urban Development Corporation and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. In the business world, he is known for his work in real estate development, banking, and labor relations. Ravitch is currently a Visiting Lecturer in Law here at Yale and has written extensively about fiscal issues facing state and local governments.
