Akriti Gaur

Akriti Gaur, a Resident Fellow in the Information Society Project, is a lawyer researching on platform governance, privacy, and digital rights in India. Presently, Akriti is an LL.M. candidate at the Yale Law School. Akriti has worked as an independent policy advisor with Indian technology policy organizations such as the Centre for Communication Governance, National Law University, Delhi and the AI Policy Exchange. She was Senior Resident Fellow at Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, India where she established and led the Centre for Applied Law and Technology Research. She has also served on the guest faculty of National Law University, Jodhpur and Jindal Global Law School.

Akriti holds a B.A. LL.B (Business Law Hons.) degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur. Her recent research and writing pertains to regulating Big-Tech platforms and addressing online misinformation in India.
