Amy Jiang is a junior at Yale College studying a combination of Computer Science, Economics, and Ethnic Studies. She is passionate about exploring ways to mitigate the emerging repercussions of AI, both in its production and consumption, especially on marginalized communities. In addition to being an YLS ISP Student Fellow, she is a MADE (Mass Atrocities in the Digital Era) fellow in Yale's Genocide Studies Program, and a student in the Jackson School's Brady-Johnson Program in Grand Strategy. Through Grand Strategy, she is researching the technology and policy tools combating generative AI-produced disinformation preceding the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election.

On campus, she works as a Peer Liaison at the Asian American Cultural Center, Development Director of the Yale AI Policy Initiative, President of the Chinese American Students Association, and has served on the boards of Women and Gender Minorities in Computer Science and the Asian Americans Students Alliance. Beyond Yale, she is a Yawkey Community Service Fellow with experience at nonprofits dedicated to Asian American and immigrant advocacy, as well as in technology, media, and telecom consulting.
