Originally from Mexico City, Carolina obtained her law degree with honors from Universidad Panamericana, where she has worked as an adjunct professor. She has also collaborated at the National Human Rights Commission and the Supreme Court of Justice of Mexico, supporting the current Chief Justice. She has focused on issues related with the protection of women journalists, human rights defenders, as well as freedom of expression. Specifically, she has worked on addressing disinformation on social media and its impact on vulnerable groups. This year she joins Yale Law School as an LLM Candidate.
