Céline Castets-Renard is Professor of Law at the University of Toulouse Capitole, School of Law (France) and Visiting Professor at Fordham University, School of Law, Center on Law and Information Policy (CLIP) (2017-2019). She was Fulbright Visiting Scholar (2017-2018). She is also member of the French prestigious 'Institut Universitaire de France’. She supervises the Master Digital Law Program at the University of Toulouse Capitole and she is Vice director of Institut de Recherche en Droit Européen, International et Comparé (IRDEIC), a Jean Monnet Center of Excellence. She teaches and writes about AI and algorithms accountability, privacy and EU personal data protection, copyright, EU Digital Single Market and other ways the law regulates internet. She received her Master Law degree from the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris) and her PhD in Law from the University of Paris-Sud.
