Student Purchasing Options

Yale Law School IT will assist students with the purchase of technology, including computers and other accessories. This is processed through a one-time COAP eligible loan through Financial Aid, with no out of pocket costs to the student.

Standard Features

  • Students may take a one-time COAP eligible loan through Financial Aid for up to $3000 toward the purchase of technology, including computers, monitors, or other accessories
  • Through ITS, students may opt to purchase any Apple computer or any computer available through GovConnection or Dell, requiring no money up front.  Laptop will be purchased by ITS and resold to the student.  Billing will be done through student’s bursar account and will be funded by the loan through Financial Aid.
