Dr. Kai Jin is a nonresident scholar at the Sigur Center for Asian Studies, George Washington University. He is also a research fellow at the Yonsei Institute for Sinology, and he served as an international communications and public relations officer for the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Center of Education for International Understanding. He writes commentaries for The Diplomat and Think China and is the author of Rising China in a Changing World: Power Transitions and Global Leadership (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017). He is currently conducting research on interactions among the great and middle powers, especially in East Asia, through the perspective of international political psychology. While at the Paul Tsai China Center, Dr. Jin Kai will further his research on U.S.-China relations.
