Liang Chen is a Ph.D. Candidate at Peking University Law School (China), a Visiting Researcher at Yale Law School, and a Resident Fellow at the Information Society Project, Yale Law School. Liang previously worked as a research assistant at the European University Institute (Italy) and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center (Germany). He is also the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Legal Competitions, a leading social media initiative promoting international moot court competitions in China.
He holds a Juris Doctor (U.S. Law) and a Juris Master (P.R.C. Law) from Peking University School of Transnational Law (China), and an LL.B. from Beijing Normal University Law School (China). Liang’s research interests include Law and Technology, Transnational Law, and Comparative Law. Currently, his research focuses on the divergence of cross-border data flow regulations among China, the United States, and the European Union.
