Louisa is the Business Analyst for Identity Access Management (IAM) within Information Security at Yale. Prior to this position she held the role of Technical Specialist at Yale's Digital Media Center for the Arts (now CCAM) and taught classes in filmmaking to the Visual Law Project (VLP). Louisa has twenty years of experience in photography and film production and is a graduate cum laude from UC Berkeley’s Art Practice Department where she specialized in film production. While in California, Ms DeLand worked at the Saul Zaentz Media Center where she helped to run the Berkeley Digital Film Institute. During that time Louisa consulted on the production and development of films such as Zaytoun and Witness11. After graduating, Louisa completed her Master’s at Vermont College of fine Arts with a focus on Screenwriting and documentary Filmmaking. Personal filmmaking projects center on Human Rights and Privacy Rights with a focus on International Relations, Ireland and the Environment.
