Luis Leon Medina

Luis Leon Medina is a junior in Yale College, studying Sociology and Data Science. He is interested in the uses of big data in decision making and policy, both the positive outcomes and potential dangers. His interests in big data (and its limitations) developed after working at Facebook, Children-at-Risk, and Arnold Ventures. Outside of ISP, Luis is involved with the Latinx pre-professional student group and Ballet Folklorico de Mexico. Additionally, he is a student organizations consultant for the dean’s office and a technical research assistant in political science and sociology.
