Legal Assistance: Gender Violence Clinic
Maureen Abell is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. Abell represents clients at New Haven Legal Assistance in removal proceedings, bond hearings, and before USCIS. Her advocacy also includes petitioning for guardianship orders of Special Immigrant Juveniles who require the aid of juvenile courts when fleeing situations of abuse. Her academic and practical focuses span immigration law and domestic violence law.
