Michael M. Wiseman is a Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School and a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Nationally recognized as a leading attorney in banking and financial institutions law, he represents domestic and international commercial banks, investment banks, and insurance companies. As managing partner of the firm’s Financial Services Group, he advises global financial institutions on their largest transactional and their most sensitive regulatory matters—including AIG in connection with its emergency financing plan with the Federal Reserve, as well as Goldman Sachs in its conversion to a bank holding company. Wiseman holds multiple degrees from Harvard University.
