Sebastián Guidi is a J.S.D. candidate at Yale Law School, where he also obtained his LL.M. He received his first law degree at Universidad de Buenos Aires (with honors). Before starting his J.S.D., he has practiced law in the Buenos Aires Bar, worked as a legal aide at the Argentine Congress, and clerked at the European Court of Human Rights. He has published in law reviews and peer-reviewed journals about comparative constitutional law, international law, and empirical legal studies. He is also a co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Constitutional Law in Latin America (2021, with Roberto Gargarella and Conrado Hübner Mendes) and Comentarios de la Constitución de la Nación Argentina (2019, with Roberto Gargarella).
Currently, he is finishing his dissertation on the democratic legitimacy of human rights courts and working on extending his insights on the Facebook Oversight Board and regulation of online speech more broadly.
