Sinclair is a Ph.D. student in political science and an M.S. candidate in computer science at Yale. His research investigates how technology shapes society, business, and security. He was an NSF-funded fellow during 2020-2021, focused on the application of machine learning to quantum materials through the National Institute for Computational Sciences. Sinclair holds an M.A. in East Asian studies and B.S. in applied mathematics, both from Yale.
