Stephen Poellot is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School. He is the legal director and a founding director of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) and an Adjunct Professor of Law at Fordham University School of Law. Prior to becoming IRAP’s legal director, he was a Robert L. Bernstein International Human Rights Fellow, working at IRAP and at the Resettlement Legal Aid Project of Saint Andrew’s Refugee Services in Cairo, Egypt. He was also a Kirby Simon Summer Fellow at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva, Switzerland. He is a graduate of Columbia College and Yale Law School.
