The weekend also featured a variety of events including an open house at the Paskus-Danziger Rare Book Room, student organization programming, and many other informal activities that will give alumni the chance to reconnect with old classmates and faculty members.

The centerpiece of the weekend was the Award of Merit presentation on Saturday, October 22, with Governor of California Edmund G. Brown Jr. ’64 and Governor of Rhode Island Gina Raimondo ’98 receiving the honor. The Award of Merit is presented by The Yale Law School Association, the alumni organization of Yale Law School, to honor an esteemed graduate or longtime faculty member for their contribution to public service or the legal profession.
