On April 20, 2017, the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy, along with the Yale Health Law & Policy Society and the Career Development Office hosted the annual Alumni Careers in Health Law Event with panelists Caroline Fox (Counsel, IBM Watson Health); Katherine L. Kraschel (Associate Counsel for the Yale New Haven Health System and Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School); Karen Porter (Associate Professor of Clinical Law at Brooklyn Law); and Adam Yoffie (joining remotely from Miami where he is with the DOJ Health Care Fraud Task Force).

The panelists discussed how they arrived at their current practices and shared with students the many forms that a health-law practice can take. For example, the panelists are engaged in work ranging from in-house counsel for a major hospital, to health-fraud prosecutions, to teaching and conducting policy advocacy, as well as corporate health law.
