Hirsch ’91 to Lead Program on Data and Governance

Dennis Hirsch ’91 has been appointed Professor of Law and Faculty Director of the newly launched Program on Data and Governance at the Ohio State Moritz College of Law. The Program studies the most effective ways to govern big data analytics in order to achieve its social and economic benefits and reduce the risks it poses to privacy, cybersecurity, and equality. 

Hirsch will also be teaching in Amsterdam this July, as he does each summer, as the Co-Organizer of the University of Amsterdam, Institute for Information Law, Summer Course on Privacy Law and Policy.
