Jerome Kringel ’66 and Hamang Patel ’99 Named Best Lawyers

Jerome H. Jerry Kringel’s practice concentrates on business and corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and international transactions. From 1989 to 1991 he served as Chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Hamang Patel practices principally in tax and business law. Patel has extensive experience in federal, state, and local tax issues arising from a broad range of complex transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, dispositions of subsidiaries and divisions, tax-free reorganizations, spin-offs, New Markets Tax Credits financings, Historic Tax Credit financings, partnerships and joint ventures, REIT acquisitions, real estate transactions, and renewable energy tax incentives.
