Day in the Life with Laura Hoey
Interested in white collar work, representing health care companies, or in a career as an AUSA and in a law firm's government enforcement practice? We hope you'll join us for Day in the Life with Laura Hoey, YLS 2001, from 3-4 PM on 2-27-14!
After graduating from YLS in 2001, Laura clerked for the Honorable George A. O’Toole, Jr., on the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and then joined Ropes & Gray as an associate. Laura then became the Health Care Fraud Coordinator in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office in Little Rock, Arkansas. She helped organize the health care fraud task force, which included federal and local law enforcement. Laura has prosecuted health care fraud, kickback, obstruction, misbranding, tax fraud, and public corruption cases. She rejoined Ropes & Gray as a partner in its Chicago office in 2011, representing clients primarily in the health care, medical device, pharmaceutical, laboratory, and dental industries who are facing government investigations and Congressional inquiries.
Chat with Laura over coffee and pastries!
