Yale Law Student Clarifies Record on State Expectations Ahead of King v. Burwell

On March 4th, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in King v. Burwell, the latest legal challenge the Affordable Care Act. Ahead of oral arguments, Christine Monahan '16, along with Georgetown University Research Professors Kevin Lucia and Sabrina Corlette, authored a blog post published by Health Affairs disputing claims that states opted out of running their own health insurance exchanges to deny their residents access to federal premium tax credits and thus avoid imposition of the ACA's individual and employer mandates.
