Accountability for Forgotten Crises (Sudan, Myanmar, and Nagorno-Karabakh)

This event will spotlight three humanitarian crises that have been largely neglected by the media. The panel will focus on future pathways to achieving justice and accountability in Myanmar, Sudan, and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). The three panelists include:

Nathaniel Raymond (Sudan), Director, Humanitarian Research Lab, Yale School of Public Health

Priya Pillai (Myanmar), Director, Asia Justice Coalition, Yale World Fellow

Karnig Kerkonian (Artsakh), International Lawyer, Armenian Delegation to the ICJ

This discussion will be moderated by Professor Claudia Flores, Co-Director of the Schell Center and vice-chair of the UN Working Group on Discrimination against Women and Girls. Registration is required for non-YLS community members.
