SLB Room 120
Open to the Yale Community

Please join us for a dinner and discussion with Chinese human rights activist and feminist lawyer Miaoqing Lu. She holds a law degree from China, an LL.M. from Fordham Law School, and served as a visiting scholar at Yale Law School in 2016.

Tenured as a partner in a law firm in China for over a decade, she garnered recognition for her work in public interest litigation involving government information disclosure, family planning policy, LGBT protections, and employment discrimination against women and ethnic minorities. After a massive government crackdown on public interest lawyers in China, Lu immigrated to the United States. She now co-hosts the extremely popular Chinese Feminists' Comedy Show in New York and continues to advocate for protections for China's marginalized Groups.
