Sonia Steinway ’14 is a fintech entrepreneur, financial services executive, strategic advisor, angel investor, and “recovering attorney.” She is passionate about entrepreneurship and is the founder and Board chair of Village Up, a nonprofit organization that supports underrepresented founders to increase diversity and access to the innovation economy. Sonia is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, summa cum laude, and Yale Law School, and clerked for Chief Justice Leo Strine of the Delaware Supreme Court and Chief Judge Robert Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. She is currently the head of the customer loyalty benefits experience at JPMorgan Chase. Sonia has no spare time; she spends all of it working, rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving, reading, crossword puzzling, providing pro bono legal services, and enjoying San Diego with her partner and teenage son.
