Erik Clemons is founding CEO of ConnCORP, an economic development and economic justice organization dedicated to community-building in New Haven.
Before ConnCORP, Eirk served as founding CEO and President of the Connecticut Center for Arts and Technology (ConnCAT), a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating empowering arts-based educational environments for at-risk public school students and training programs for under and unemployed adults.
Prior to joining ConnCAT, Erik served as Executive Director of Leadership, Education, and Athletics in Partnership (LEAP), providing academic and social enrichment programs to children and youth between the ages of five and 23.
Erik has served as an Education Fellow at the Aspen Institute, a Yale-New Haven Hospital trustee, a member of the Connecticut State Board of Education, Board Chair of the Housing Authority of New Haven (HANH), a member of the Board of Directors at New Haven Bank, a member of Boston Federal Reserve Community Council and a member of the Board of Directors at Elm City Market.
