Chantal Thomas is the Radice Family Professor of Law at Cornell Law School, where she also serves as the Director of the Cornell Center for Global Economic Justice. She holds numerous appointments on expert bodies in international law, including the United States Department of State’s Advisory Committee on International Law and the Roster of Experts for Binational Panel Dispute Settlement, United States – Canada – Mexico (USMCA) Agreement. Professor Thomas researches and writes in international law focusing on political economy and questions of global social justice. She has authored more than 50 articles and other publications on aspects of international economic law across trade, development, migration and human rights, and has two book volumes forthcoming: a monograph with Oxford University Press on international migration; and a monograph with Cambridge University Press on law and development.
