Description

Peter Jan Honigsberg is Professor of Law at the University of San Francisco, and the founder and director of Witness to Guantánamo.  Prof. Honigsberg has written books, law review articles, op-eds and blogs on Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, the war on terror, national security and human rights. His work has been reviewed in the New Yorker and the Economist.  His opinion pieces have been published in a number of publications, including the Washington Post.  Recently, he appeared on C-Span and was interviewed in several podcasts about his latest book, A Place Outside the Law: Forgotten Voices of Guantánamo (Beacon Press).
