In the aftermath of the mass incursion on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, approximately 1500 people were charged with a variety of crimes in the District Court for the District of Columbia. This panel consists of a federal judge, a federal public defender, and a former Assistant United States Attorney who participated in these criminal cases. They will discuss legal and related issues pertaining to the criminal charges, judicial proceedings, sentencings, and pardons in the aftermath of the incursion.
