Celebrating the Yale Law School’s bicentennial anniversary, the exhibit showcases highlights of the historical collections, including: Bill Clinton's letter to a reference librarian about first meeting Hillary Rodham in the library; the only existing copy of the earliest version of the "Bluebook" (created at Yale Law School); Professor Simeon E. Baldwin's circular launching the American Bar Association; and the stories of Alice Rufie Jordan, who became the first woman student at Yale University by insisting there was no written policy against women enrolling, and Warner T. McGuinn, one of the earliest Black students (and financially supported by Mark Twain), civil rights attorney, and mentor to Thurgood Marshall.
