Description

Student participants will engage in a series of experiential activities, including impromptu speeches with guided feedback, physical and vocal technique training, and an introduction to communication behavior theory.  Participants will develop essential skills for engaging an audience and learn techniques for enhancing professional presence. 

This workshop is a three-hour session available during morning and afternoon blocks over January 30, 31, and February 1.

Space is limited, should demand exceed capacity for certain dates and time slots, we will use a random generator to select participants.

Dr. Diane Lennard is a Professor of Management Communication at Stern School of Business at New York University and the founder of Lennard & Company, an international consulting firm specializing in theatre-based experiential learning programs for leadership and professional development. Dr. Lennard coaches executives, educators, business consultants, and other professionals who want to expand their communication skills and abilities. She is the author of Strategic Communication at Work: The Impact Paradigm (Routledge, 2018) and Coaching Models: A Cultural Perspective (Routledge, 2010).
