Doyle-Winter Lecture: Steven Calabresi ’83
Steven G. Calabresi ’83 delivered the Michael A. Doyle ’62 and Bunny Winter Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law Lecture on Jan. 27, 2025. Titled “The Meese Revolution: The Making of a Constitutional Moment,” the lecture addresses the work of Edwin Meese III as attorney general under President Reagan as well as Meese’s influential role in formalizing constitutional originalism.
Calabresi is the Clayton J. & Henry R. Barber Professor at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law as well as a frequent visiting professor at Yale Law School. In the fall of 2024, Calabresi was the fourth Doyle-Winter Distinguished Visiting Professor in Law.
