Yonatan Zamir

Yonatan Zamir is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School and a Staff Attorney at New Haven Legal Assistance Association (LAA). He represents clients in a wide range of housing matters, including eviction proceedings and preserving access to affordable housing. Before joining LAA, Zamir served as a Fellow with Hofstra University School of Law’s Law Reform Advocacy Clinic, and previously, as Counsel to a Member of Congress and to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to working in Congress, he was a staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of New York. Originally from Chicago, Zamir earned his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where he received the Excellence in Housing Clinic Award. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, New York, and the District of Columbia.
