Daniel Newton is the Gender & Sexuality Fellow at the Yale Global Health Justice Partnership. Daniel supervises student projects for the GHJP practica, and works on projects on LGBTQ youth mental health,  sex workers’ rights, and synergies between queer, LGBTQ and women’s rights advocates across borders and in intergovernmental fora. Daniel has previously worked on children’s rights litigation, forensic investigations and war crimes accountability, human rights-based education for community-led development, and community-based mental and  sexual health services for LGBTQ people. He holds a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
