Maddy Finucane is a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law, Associate Research Scholar in Law, and Robert M. Cover Clinical Teaching Fellow at Yale Law School. In addition to teaching as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law, Finucane has served as a Staff Attorney at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and Austin Community Law Center. In representing low-income individuals and groups, Finucane has prioritized matters and methods that support community organizing and empower client communities.

Finucane received an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a proud member of the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. Before law school, she worked as a Chinese-English translator and a civil rights paralegal.
